Ever wondered if you could actually furnish an apartment from Pinterest? So did we, so we were interested to learn about CB2’s supercool APT.CB2 experiment in which Crate & Barrel’s sister company invited five guest pinners—all with massive Pinterest followings—to each design a room in a Manhattan loft using CB2 merchandise voted on by Pinterest viewers. The apartment, located at 873 Broadway near Union Square, was decorated over five days in May and the results were inspiring.
So, yes, it can be done. But how much does it cost? We tallied up the prices of just about every item in each room, and got a rough grand total of ... drum roll please ... about $21,600. If you love one or two (or all five!), you’re in luck. CB2 is selling select merchandise used in the loft for 15 percent off through tomorrow.
