It's almost August, yes, and you've yet to schedule your woodsy escape from the city. Good news: This sampling of vacation rentals in the mountains still have availabilities—as of this writing—for hike-and-bike enthusiasts longing for a break from NYC. 

Wells, New York: This new two-bedroom, two-bath cabin in the southern Adirondacks asking an average of $147/night on comes with a perk many summer vacationers would appreciate after a hot day out on the trails: central air.
